【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtoserveasaguidetomanufacturers,distributors,installers,contractors,regulatoryofficials,andowners.Itisnotintendedtospecifydetailedmethodsoftesting,installation,orservicingforthesystemoranyofitscomponents.Thispracticesetsforththosemethodsandcomponentsnecessaryforminimumoperationandsafety.Italsosuggestsmethodsforimprovedoperationandeffectiveness.1.1Thispracticeprovidesdescriptionsofsolardomesticwaterheatingsystemsandsetsforthinstallationandservicepracticesinnewandexistingone-andtwo-familydwellingstohelpensureadequateoperationandsafety.,1.2Thispracticeappliesregardlessofthefractionofheatingrequirementsuppliedbysolarenergy,thetypeofconventionalfuelusedinconjunctionwithsolar,ortheheattransferfluid(orfluids)usedastheenergytransportmedium.However,wheremorestringentrequirementsarerecommendedbythemanufacturer,thesemanufacturerrequirementsshallprevail.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSections6and7.
