【摘要】:ISO/IEC8882definesthetestingofaDTEoperatingattheDataLinkLayerandatthePacketLayerwhenaccessing,bymeansofadedicatedpathconnection,switchedorpermanent,apublicorprivatepacket-switchednetworkconformingtoCCITTRecommendationX.25oranotherDTEconformingtoISO/IEC7776andISO/IEC8208.Thetestswilltesttheconformanceofanimplementationbyobservingitsexternalbehaviour.TheconformancetestswillnottesttheDTEperformancecharacteristics,thediagnosticandmaintenancefunctions,thecorrectnessoftheprotocolitself,orDTEinternalimplementation,orthefullcapabilitiesasstatedinthePICS.ThispartofISO/IEC8882—providesageneralintroduction;—referstothoseapplicableInternationalStandards;—definestermsapplicabletoX.25-DTEconformancetesting;—statesthetestcasederivationanddescription;and—statesthetestmethodology.ISO/IEC8882-1containsnostatementofconformance.SpecificstatementsofconformancearegiveninISO/IEC8882-2andISO/IEC8882-3.
