【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthesyntaxandsemanticsofCOBOL.ItspurposeistopromoteahighdegreeofmachineindependencetopermittheuseofCOBOLonavarietyofdataprocessingsystems.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies:—TheformofacompilationgroupwritteninCOBOL.—Theeffectofcompilingacompilationgroup.—Theeffectofexecutingrununits.—Theelementsofthelanguageforwhichaconformingimplementationisrequiredtosupplyadefinition.—Theelementsofthelanguageforwhichmeaningisexplicitlyundefined.—Theelementsofthelanguagethataredependentonthecapabilitiesoftheprocessor.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecify:—ThemeanswherebyacompilationgroupwritteninCOBOLiscompiledintocodeexecutablebyaprocessor.—Thetimeatwhichmethod,function,orprogramruntimemodulesarelinkedorboundtoanactivatingstatement,exceptthatruntimebindingoccursofnecessitywhentheidentificationoftheappropriateprogramormethodisnotknownatcompiletime.—Thetimeatwhichparameterizedclassesareexpanded.—Themechanismbywhichlocalesaredefinedandmadeavailableonaprocessor.—Theformorcontentoferror,flagging,orwarningmessages.—Theformandcontentoflistingsproducedduringcompilation,ifany.—TheformofdocumentationproducedbyanimplementorofproductsconformingtothisInternationalStandard.—Thesharingofresourcesotherthanfilesamongrununits.
